Sunshine Blogger Award Take 7

I feel like a disappointment now, because I’m behind on my blogging and my trip is in in 18 days, and I can’t write book reviews at all it seems like. Every time I get it started, my mind goes ‘nope, not today’.

I was tagged by the lovely Rae to do the Sunshine Blogger Award. Thanks so much!

What’s your favorite genre?

Either Contemporary or Fantasy, I’ve been in both moods and those two always seems to be my favorite genre.

Where do you like to read?

My bed obviously. There’s something comfortable on it and I have many pillows on it to relax.

What do you do when you’re not reading?

It’s supposed to be blogging, but because my mind doesn’t want to do that, just trying to finish my freshmen year.

Who is your favorite author?

Marissa Meyer, Sarah J. Maas, Jay Kristoff, Marie Lu, Leigh Bardugo, Rick Riordan, Roshani Chokshi

When is your favorite time to read?

I don’t know, probably in the evening.

How do you choose what books to read next?

I look of what looks interesting and just read that.

What do you look for in a book?

Diversity

How do you feel about book to movie adaptations?

It depends. I either like them or hate them. It just matters if they follow the book or not.

Do you prefer a stand-alone or a series?

I like both, but reviewing standards, stand-alone is easier since it takes me forever to even finish a series.

Have you ever joined a book club?

Once. I was in 7th grade, and I liked it, but because I was very clingy to my ‘friends’ I just skipped out on most of it, but I got 2 books out of it.

What are your tips to other bloggers?

Don’t stress on blogging! Real life comes first (especially if you’re in school and the school year is wrapping. It’s stress.)

Since this is my 7th time of doing the award, and I have to read a book for English really quick. I tag whoever wants to do it, and answer’s Rae’s questions.

  1. Psst, I need to tell you something. *lifts up megaphone* YOU’RE AN AMAZING BLOGGER AND THAT DOESN’T CHANGE EVEN THOUGH YOU’RE BEHIND ON BLOGGING. 🙂 And Lori, you ARE NOT a disappointment! You blog, you play an instrument, and you stay on top of school. None of any of that is disappointing.

I hope the end of freshmen year is going well! Mine is personally slightly stressful, but – for once – I actually feel on top of things. Ahh I can’t wait for summer, how about you?

    1. I’m kinda still stressed out, but it’s over. My freshmen year is finally over, and it was just complete stress. The only thing left is blog, the few car wash events during the summer and the trip.

I managed to finish strong kinda , without ripping two freaking music pieces in half because everyone just wanted to turn them in after I put them away. I lasted without a complete meltdown because the lovely idiots who did the marking of what was missing for the flip-folders next year and that took FOREVER. Literally, 40 minutes before band ended, during lunch, after my geometry final (which I passed!) and during advisory, I was marking what was missing and deleting some songs because apparently everyone else had crazy train and they decided to mark that missing.
