Year of the Asian 2020

Last year, I decided to Year of the Asian and this year, I’m partaking in it once again! Year of the Asian was one of my favorite readathons and I’m really glad that the hosters are bringing it back once again this year!

Year of the Asian, a 2020 Reading Challenge. Hosted by CW, Lily, Shealea, and Vicky

Year of the Asian 2020 is hosted by these lovely people:

I had so much fun with it last year! I think I read like 90 or so books by Asian Authors last year, which surpassed my goal of the panda. It was fun expanding my reading to more Asian authors in general! There is no shortage of books by Asian Authors this year and I can’t be more excited for it!

There are 6 different levels that you can try and reach for! Philippine tarsier: 1-10 books,  Indian cobra: 11-20 books, Malayan tapir: 21-30 books, Giant panda: 31-40 books,  Asian elephant: 41-50 books, Bengali tiger: 50+ books

I’ll be aiming for the Bengali Tiger which is 50+ books! Look how cute the tiger is! It’s so adorable and I now want a tiger, oh I already have one (maybe two?) in my room. Just like last year, I’ll be adding on books as the year progresses! Hopefully this slump doesn’t last forever because I’m oddly imitated by Goodreads telling me I’m behind.

Are you participating in Year of the Asian 2020? Is my goal a little too much? What are you hoping to read by Asian Authors this year? Tell me in the comments!

Hey everyone! I’m Lori and I have been ranting about books for a while, so I decided to make a blog. I’m a teen blogger in high school who has no life so she just reads books, and rants about her problems on her blog and to her cat. 1. 90 books by Asian authors! How amazing! I so wish to read more books written by Asian authors, so I think I might join the challenge to ensure that I do. I’ll start small and aim for Philippine tarsier, though reading more wouldn’t hurt. Good luck on reaching the tiger level!! I’m sure you’ll do wonderfully 😀
